For the surgery shelf exam, I picked up this book and Pretest. Let me tell you, the editors for this book are possibly the most incompetent people in the world. There are so many grammatical errors, incomplete sentences, and incorrectly marked answers in this book that it becomes frustrating to work through the questions knowing that you paid good money for them. I cannot believe that any editor would consider this book passable in terms of quality control. I highly recommend against purchasing this book. Perhaps when sales have decreased, these yahoos will actually get their act together and offer a proper revision. I’d be ashamed to have my name listed as an editor in this book. New York, get your act together.

Surprisingly there are a lot of medical books like that. Question books are especially notorious for misprints and wrong answers. Makes you question whether their listed answer is correct, which defeats the purpose of doing questions if you’re second guessing yourself even with the ‘right’ answer.
You are absolutely correct. However, the Lange Q & A book is particularly bad. In some chapters, every fourth to fifth question makes you wonder if anyone read what was type-set at all. Then, trying to figure out what the hell was really meant is an inefficient use of time. Often times, the explanation is no explanation at all, references to nonexistent pictures exist, and questions aren’t even phrased as questions. I want a refund.
hahaha, I’ve seen bad books but it sounds like yours takes the cake. Not like you need to honor surgery anyways, super star
Review books are for girly-men anyway. A real He-Man like yourself should be reading Sabistons. Congrats on your engagement!!
