For the surgery shelf exam, I picked up this book and Pretest. Let me tell you, the editors for this book are possibly the most incompetent people in the world. There are so many grammatical errors, incomplete sentences, and incorrectly marked answers in this book that it becomes frustrating to work through the questions knowing that you paid good money for them. I cannot believe that any editor would consider this book passable in terms of quality control. I highly recommend against purchasing this book. Perhaps when sales have decreased, these yahoos will actually get their act together and offer a proper revision. I’d be ashamed to have my name listed as an editor in this book. New York, get your act together.

What a sad thing to see the lawyer and widow circling around the doctors who treated John Ritter like the buzzards that they are. It sickens me to the pit of my stomach to see our greedy system roused to action again. This despicable widow already has $14 million in settlement money in her Gucci purse, but she and her miscreant attorney wanted $67 million more from those who tried to help her husband. May they both rot in hell.
Meanwhile, let this be the one post on the internet that praises Dr. Joseph Lee, Ritter’s cardiologist. You can count on the media to besmirch a man’s name and reputation, but where are the apologies after his absolution? American media is trash and ambulance chasing malpractice parasites who call themselves lawyers are also trash. Shame on the hospitals for settling, reinforcing a bad precedent, rewarding the meritless, and setting a model for further suits.
